How we work

Askala produces it’ s furniture in Tallinn, on a 3000 m2 production area. Today we have 78 employees altogether. To provide a better quality and the growth of production, Askala has made substantial investments in production equipment. Today the company has its own modern production line with CNC (Computer Numerically Controlled Working Centre). Lacquering takes place on a fully automatic Cefla finishing line.

 In last ten years we have successfully sold our products to local market, but since the beginning, Askala has always been also very export-oriented. In recent years, the company has strongly contributed to develop exports, and now, exports form 90% of company’s turnover. Askala Ltd. manufactures distinctive furniture and has become well-known and appreciated as a major furniture supplier amongst other European furniture chains. Our furniture is self assemblable, which means that it fits to an average family-car trunk. It’ s very easy to put our furniture together, because of the installation instructions, which are always included. You may also take your furniture into pieces again and put it together in a new place. All our products are packed and include necessary supplies and instruction how to put the pieces together.
